Jeremy is a New York native who has loved to sing since he was a young boy. His sister, Carolyn, speaks of Jeremy singing to TV commercials as a child and never stopping from there.
His early influences were Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, David Ruffin, Levi Stubbs of the 4 Tops. Later influences were Brian McKnight, Michael Jackson, Howard Hewitt and Pebo Bryson. Currently Jeremy likes John Legend, Elliot Yamin & Justin Timberlake.
Over the years Jeremy has focused on live performance, specifically R&B with a variety of musicians. Live performance has always been close to Jeremy’s heart and something he’s always interested in doing.
As a top-line writer and vocalist, Jeremy loves to work with producers and engineers creating music. According to Jeremy, writing the lyrics for a song is "really exciting and you get to express a thought from start to finish, sharing your point of view".
Through 2007, Jeremy worked on numerous dance music projects for producers around the world. The vast majority of these projects being released over seas. This work led to his first two Top-40 hits in Holland, "Turn The Lights Off" and "Physical Attraction". The lyrics for "Physical Attraction" were written by Jeremy and recorded in a Manhattan studio.
In February of 2008 "Deep At Night" (previously released throughout Europe by Fektive Records) was released in North America by Nervous Records and became a Billboard Top-10 Dance Hit. This event allowed Jeremy's success to be realized at home in the United States. Visiting radio stations around the country and performing in some of the hottest dance clubs made 2008 an amazing year. Adam K & Soha created this hot mix, then everyone at Fektive (NL) & Nervous (US) worked their magic releasing & promoting the record. Dance radio around the world gave so much support, playing it (enough to make #40 on the Dance Radio Singles Top-100 Airplay of 2008).
Also in 2008, “Sexy Girl” has been a wonderful international hit song. In Hungary (Top-20 Dance Hit 33 weeks & counting) and in Spain (Top-20 Pop Hit), Jeremy looks forward to get back to Europe and perform.
Writing songs has been a passion for Jeremy. He continues to write and produce vocals for himself as well as other artists. |
